Moral profile of a social worker as a prerequisite for the quality of social work

The diploma thesis focuses on the core and issues related to the work of a social worker and it strives to evaluate the essence of their moral profile. Based on that, it was necessary to define the terms of social work and thus state that a social worker must have a whole range of knowledge, abilities and skills. These include so-called soft skills such as empathy, the ability to listen, the ability to solve conflicts, communication skills. The personal value ladder, characteristics, life views and experience and many others determine the social worker´s approach towards their clients. In the next part I was dealing with ethical dilemmas the social worker faces and they are trying to manage via specific types of approach. The main objective of this thesis was to uncover what kinds of ethically dilemmatic situations the social workers may encounter and what strategies they choose to use in order to manage them.
Creation of an educational course from the lector's perspective in a corporate education environment

The diploma thesis is construed in the context of corporate education of employees. Its objective is to examine the process of creating an educational course from the perspective of a teacher of further education. The paper presents corporate training of employees as a systematic process in the context of human resources management and development. It underlines its systematic approach and coherence with other activities of the organization. The diploma thesis deals in more detail with the essential methods of development and education of employees applied both in the workplace and outside of it. Furthermore, the work describes the term of methods, presents their basic classification, ways of using them in the educational process and briefly characterizes them. It defines the relationships between the terms of employee, human resource and human capital and clarifies the concepts of educational project, subjects of education and other fundamental notions related to the development and training of employees in the organization. Career skills of students

The objective of this work was to analyze the career skills of students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice in relation to the subsequent career of graduates in selected work positions. The thesis works with the database of personality test results of students and with the database of graduate students. The work is examining whether there are statistical differences between the students of different study programs. Results of soft skills of graduates are compared to soft skills established by NSP.
Development and education of employees in a medium sized organization

This diploma thesis analyses education and development of employees in selected organization. The aim of my thesis is to evaluate the current system of education and development of employees in selected organization. Theoretical part defines the basic terminology, which is more elaborated in practical part. Practical part consists of description of the organization, description of education that is currently being used and also questionnaires for employees, and unstructured interview. Questionnaires include twenty questions, that were given to the employees of selected business. Most of the employees were very willing and helpful. Questionnaire contains questions targeted at education and development of employees. Output of these questionnaires is finding, whether the organization motivates employees enough to increase their education and whether it offers or mediates sufficient amount of methods to increase education. The work is concluded with proposals and suggestions for making the education system more efficient.
Managerial competences in EF JU student´s development

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of managerial competences of the students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice who study program Management and Business Economics with a proposal how to develop core competences to increase their competitiveness in the labour market. The results are based on the questionnaire survey of the students and managers of companies, focusing on the soft skills established by the Central Database of Competences.
The use of neurolinguistic programming at public service employees

The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis summarizes the most important findings of neurolinguistic programming. It also contains a description of selected techniques. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare the NLP with techniques applied in practice for the development of soft skills of inspectors of the State Office for Nuclear Safety. This goal was achieved through unstructured interviews and the study of internal documents, working materials and course texts. The thesis also contains semi-structured questionnaire, supplemented by information obtained by unstructured interview with inspectors and other communication with them. This questionnaire explores the opinion of inspectors on soft skills education, neuro-linguistic programming, and interest in further training in these areas.
Educational Needs Analysis of General Nurses in Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to distinguish and to analyze the educational needs of general nurses of Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice by testing specific method of research. This specific method is a questionnaire based on Metodika vzdělávacích plánů created by HESTIA a. s. together with PhDr. Jiří Tošner. The goal can be devided into two sub-goals. First sub-goal is to test this questionnaire for distingushing the educational needs of general nurses in Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice, the second sub-goal is to distinguish and analyze the educational needs of general nurses of Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice. The theoretical part of this thesis is based on remarkable work of 20th century's scholars, sociologists, physicians and researchers and its aim is to present the psychiatry within its historical and contemporary concept. The thesis will also focus on the occupation of nurse, its history and current state. Last but not least, this thesis will present the history, organizational structure and educational opportunities of Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice. I chose the soft skills, which are important for a good nurse's output according to me. In my opinion many people cant handle it as they are supposed to. And that is what I would like to find out in my task. In the preface of the teoretic part I am explaining why I am interested in this topic. Diploma thesis deals with the development of human resources at university hospitals. Specifically, the thesis focuses on the development of young physicians, participating in specialized training, but outside the medical field. The introduction describes the terms related to human resources development in the health sector. Diploma thesis introduces the current system of education of young physicians and the terms of specialized education of young physicians. In the second part of thesis is a quantitative survey conducted at University hospital Olomouc, in order to identify the needs of young physicians in the field of human resources development. In the end of the work are chosen fields of complementary education for young physicians. Also are recommended training providers in chosen fields. On the basis of the activities associated with the planning and implementation of complementary education program for young physicians, it is designed and developed a budget.
